Mrs. Laura Pruitt

Mrs. Laura has been teaching for 7 years now.  The method used is one learned through observing and working with Miss Glendy (also her mother-in-law) with Glendy's Waterbabies for 3 years. Laura has embraced what Miss Glendy refers to as simply ‘the method’.  Both Laura & Glendy’s programs are designed to teach children of all ages how to be safe in around all bodies of water, specifically around backyard & community pools.
"I started my 1 year old daughter in swim classes  at a local swim school in Katy.  By her 3rd birthday, we had been going to 30 minute swim lessons every week for over a year and a half,  spent over $1200 on classes, and although my child was comfortable in the water, she still could not swim and would probably drown if she ever fell into a pool...

The first few days were a little rough, there were some tears and tantrums because it was a little scary for her to learn to float on her back.  By day 3, she jumped into the deep end of the pool,  floated on her back, paddled to the edge of the pool and got out all by herself!  She was so proud of herself that she couldn't wait to come back the next two days and swim with Ms Laura again."
